Purpose & Values

Fairness. This is the driving force behind my business. Having seen so much unfairness in our industry I was compelled to do something about it. The culture we have of ridiculously low profit margins breeds scarcity and lack which leads to poor behaviour, poor decisions and poor quality. The Construction Revolution is about changing your mindset, defining your own purpose and being rewarded fairly for your efforts.

It is also about treating other people fairly and creating an environment where they feel included and can be themselves in order to show up and be at their best. This is reflected in the work that I do as Chair of the Construction Industry Council Diversity and Inclusion Panel and also as a trainer delivering Fairness, Inclusion and Respect training for the Supply Chain Sustainability School.

Connection. I love connecting my clients with people and resources that can help. I also connect them with each other if I feel it will be of benefit. Being in business can be lonely and we tend to work in silos. Growing a community where business owners can learn from and support each other to move away from the ‘race to the bottom’ will bring the lasting change we need and build a better industry for all.

Making a Difference. Way back when I was a Project Manager embarking on my journey of personal development and coaching, I knew I was here to make a difference. I had no idea how, I could just visualise myself doing what I could to influence change. So here I am, working with my clients to positively impact on their lives and their businesses and influencing the industry through the work that I do with the Construction Industry Council and the Construction Leadership Council.
